I don’t know who needs to hear this but not a single part of you is wrong or broken.

you, your body, your heart, your mind, your spirit, your soul, your energy, are soooo intelligent.

so intelligent that it literally hurts sometimes.

hurts when things don’t go how you’d like. how your ego wants.

but what you want from a rational perspective isn’t necessarily what’s most aligned, most efficient, or most helpful to you or the collective.

can you make room for more sweetness and compassion in your being?

what would it be like to see yourself as a complete and intelligent organism? as an essential and vital part of the greater ecosystem of life?

who would you be if your every thought, feeling, behaviour were on purpose?

imagine the relief of removing the labels of wrong, bad, “why am I like this” — and replacing them with ok, yes, thank you, and in being the gentle witness, watching what unfurls from that new space of acceptance?

resilience is what builds a thriving ecosystem- the ability to adapt, to recover quickly, to find strength, to be durable.

integrating more of your experience allows for more resilience in your ecosystem, and in your life experience.

in my opinion, the more stories I hear about (primarily) women experiencing burnout, the more I can sense and feel that this is a result of disconnection.

disconnect from self, and from truth.

waiting until big scary unprecedented thing happens (e.g. burnout) to begin addressing the inner landscape.

it’s not easy though when you’re in the middle of it.
or when the guidance you’ve had til now never modelled any other behaviour.

we’re so conditioned to focus outwards first. to tend to the outer environment first. making sure everyone around you is good and safe and comfortable first.

❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

my invitation is to begin bringing awareness to that self connection, growing the pockets of home within, building resilience in your ecosystem.

unless it’s some big momentous gargantuan mountain of a thing that I’ve overcome, not for a moment does it cross my mind to offer myself a bit of festivity.

a medium-sized medal of honour.

celebrating others however comes easy.

cheerleading them through life.

whispering sweet words of encouragement and acknowledgement for their every nuance of existence.
